Terms

1. The service

HowMuchIt is a free information site about how much material, power or energy a home project needs. By using it you accept these terms.

2. Information only

Facts come from the publishers named on each page. The calculators give estimates for planning, not a quote, a design or professional advice. For wiring, gas, structure or anything a permit covers, ask a licensed professional, and follow the maker's instructions for your product.

3. No affiliation

HowMuchIt is an independent guide, not a contractor, an electrician or an engineer: for work on wiring, gas, structure or anything a permit covers, ask a licensed professional. Brand and product names, eBay included, are trademarks of their owners.

4. No warranty, limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any indirect or consequential damage arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits a right the law does not allow to be limited, including rights granted to consumers under Quebec law.

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada that apply there.
